Scene up Your Dish with Your Smartphone!

Food photography with a smartphone, at home or on the go.

Taking photos of food and sharing them with others. Many people do it, even more people enjoy it. I'll tell you what to look out for and give you practical tips to take the most beautiful photos of delicious food.

Tasty food photography is demanding. It starts with selecting the ingredients and continues through cooking and serving the food. From start to finish, you're working on creating an attractive composition of colours and images.

The dishes of real food stylists are often only suitable for photos and not for consumption. The fillings are shaped with foil, the vegetables are often half raw for colour, and the meat is barely meant to be eaten.

With a smartphone, practical photo apps, and my tips, you don't have to worry about that because with one click, even the most boring soups look as if they were conceived by Ferran Adrià.

Of course, you want to be able to eat your food, so it's very practical to be able to take a beautiful photo with a smartphone within seconds.
